GRC platform
A GRC platform built for the way compliance actually works
Governance, risk and compliance in one workspace. Map controls, track risks, manage vendors and run audits without jumping between tools.
Why GRC platforms matter now
Spreadsheets and point tools break down when you manage more than one framework, more than a handful of vendors, or more than a single auditor relationship. A GRC platform puts governance, risk and compliance under one roof so the work that overlaps is done once.
What you get in one workspace
Every module below shares the same data model. A control links to its risks, its evidence, its policies and its frameworks.
- Framework catalogue
- SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, DORA, the EU AI Act, NIST CSF, CMMC and more. Pick the ones you need; each control maps once across all of them.
- Risk management
- A risk register with likelihood, impact, treatment and owner. Heatmaps show where you stand. Link each risk to the controls and assets it touches.
- Policy management
- Draft, version, approve and publish policies. Track acknowledgements. Every version is kept with a full audit trail.
- Vendor risk
- Onboard vendors, send questionnaires through a vendor portal, and track assessments against your own criteria. Supports the DORA ICT register.
- Continuous monitoring
- See which controls have current evidence and which need attention, in real time. Integrations pull evidence from AWS, Azure, GCP, GitHub, Jira and more.
- Audit workspace
- Your auditor gets their own scoped portal with read-only access to the evidence for their engagement. No files passed back and forth.
Governance
Governance that goes beyond a document library
Governance in a GRC platform should mean more than storing policies. Certifyi links policies to the controls they support, tracks who has acknowledged them, and keeps every version with a tamper-evident audit trail.
AI governance is built in: register AI systems, classify their risk against ISO 42001 and the EU AI Act, and connect them to the controls that apply.
- Policies linked to controls, with approval workflows and version history
- Personnel security: onboarding, access reviews, certifications and offboarding
- AI system register with risk classification against ISO 42001 and the EU AI Act
- Security awareness training with completion tracking
- Full audit trail on every action, with user, time and context
Risk
Risk management that connects to your controls
A risk register on its own does not tell you much. In Certifyi each risk links to the controls that mitigate it, the assets it affects and the vendor it comes from. When a risk changes, you see the compliance impact straight away.
- Risk register with likelihood, impact, treatment and owner
- Heatmaps and dashboards for reporting to leadership
- Risks linked to controls, assets and vendors
- Incident management: log, triage and track incidents to closure
- Business continuity planning beside your risks and assets
Compliance
Multi-framework compliance without duplicate work
Most GRC software makes you manage each framework separately. Certifyi maps your controls once and shares them across every framework in the catalogue. When you add a new framework, the controls you already have are mapped automatically.
Evidence sits on the control it supports, with version history and automated collection from your existing tools.
- Compliance automation: evidence collection, monitoring and alerts.
- Startups: get audit-ready fast with guided onboarding.
- Enterprise: group-level visibility and multi-entity compliance.
- BFSI: DORA, RBI, SAMA, MAS TRM and regional frameworks.
Questions
GRC platforms, answered
What is the difference between a GRC platform and compliance software?
Compliance software focuses on meeting the requirements of specific frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001. A GRC platform adds governance and risk management: risk registers, risk appetite, board reporting, vendor risk, incidents and business continuity. If you manage more than compliance, you need the broader tool.
How does a GRC platform handle multiple frameworks?
It maps each framework's requirements to a shared control set. A control like multi-factor authentication satisfies SOC 2 CC6.1, ISO 27001 A.8.5 and HIPAA 164.312(d) at once. You implement it once, attach evidence once, and the platform counts it towards every framework that requires it.
When should we move from spreadsheets to a GRC platform?
When you add a second framework, when more than one person updates controls and evidence, or when your auditor spends more time asking where things are than testing them. A spreadsheet cannot enforce ownership, version evidence or map controls across frameworks.
Does a GRC platform replace our risk register?
It includes one. Risks link to the controls that treat them, so the register and the control set stay in sync. You set a risk appetite, score each risk by likelihood and impact, and the platform flags risks above your appetite for treatment or escalation.
